高血糖
High blood sugar is a leading indicator of diabetes. If a patient with hyperglycemia does not accepted regular f/u and suitable management, they may develop many severe complication. Physical activity can use excess glucose in the blood. Eating less and snacking less, as well as focusing on low-sugar foods, also help keeping the amount of glucose under control. Occupational Therapist and Dietitian may be consulted if necessary.

高血脂
Cholesterol is a waxy fat molecule that the liver produces. There are two types of lipoproteins that transport cholesterol to the cells. LDL has damaging effects on health. Triglycerides are another type of fat in the blood. They are not a type of cholesterol but have a strong association with heart disease. Lifestyle and dietary options are an important way to prevent and treat hyperlipidemia. A heart healthy diet includes minimizing the intake of saturated fat, trans fats, and dietary cholesterol, and consuming a variety of whole fruits and vegetables. Regular exercise and activity help a person reduce LDL, raise HDL, and encourage weight loss. Occupational Therapist and Dietitian may be consulted if necessary.

高血壓
Hypertension is a risk factor for CVD, including stroke, MI, heart failure, and aneurysm. Keeping blood pressure under control is vital for preserving health. Lifestyle adjustments are the standard, first-line treatment for hypertension. Current guidelines recommend that all people engage in moderate intensity, aerobic exercise. Occupational Therapist may be consulted if necessary. The choice of medication depends on the individual and any underlying medical conditions Antihypertensive medications usually have minor side effects, and these side effects should be always kept in mind.

電解質
Anyone can develop an electrolyte disorder. Certain patients are at an increased risk because of their medical history. Electrolytes are substances are present in your blood, bodily fluids, and urine. They are also ingested with food, drinks, and supplements. Severe electrolyte imbalances can cause serious problems such as coma, seizures, and cardiac arrest. Closely LAB data f/u is needed. Treatment depends on the type of electrolyte disorder and on the underlying condition causing it. Besides, some medications can cause electrolyte disorders as well. Please beware of your management.
